Donny does Dublin!

What were the chances that Penn State, Don's favorite team would be playing in Europe while we're here? Apparently pretty high :) The weekend of August 30th Don, Ruth and Mike hopped a flight to Ireland and watched Penn State beat Central Florida University in the Croke Park Classic!

Here are some of their highlights...

Don's official welcome at the airport
First stop!

Fish N Chips with Mushy Peas!

Outside Temple Bar

Who's that handsome man?

Game day!

Love Birds! Is there any better way to celebrate your
6-Year Anniversary?

Don and a Nittany Lion. Some of you know
the story of how Burke narrowly
escaped being called Nittany by her dad...

Bumping into old students!

Now that is dedication

Their story is that someone sold them this "official merchandise..."

Nothing says Europe like pictures in front
of the Hard Rock Cafe

Yes, that is a stack of empty cups Ruth is carrying...
Meanwhile, back in Prague. Caralyn and Grandma Doreen are on kid duty. We also carried around stacks of empty cups, but thought it would be inappropriate to post on this blog. Instead, here are some photos from Harley Days, where the kids had some fun :)

Thanks to Ruth and Mike for joining Don on his Dublin adventure, thanks to Doreen for flying in to watch the kids and thanks to Penn State for pulling off a last minute 26-24 win. Don had the time of his life!!
